Wyatt Nelson Thornhill

Wyatt Nelson Thornhill of Salem, VA, 53, passed away in his sleep on May 20, 2024.  He was born on August 3, 1970, in Roanoke, VA.

Wyatt was preceded in death by his brother, Brian Hamilton Thornhill and sister, Alyssa Chilton Thornhill.

He is survived by his parents Glenn and  Joanne Thornhill and Betts Jackson. His sisters Christine Thornhill (Sean Hyde), Kelly Farber (Corley); his brothers G.O. Thornhill (Kris), David Thornhill (Astrid).  He also leaves behind loved and cherished nieces and nephews, Hunter, Olivia, Oliver, Ben, Lolly, John, and Lucas. 

Wyatt will always be remembered for his quick-witted humor, his positive spirit, thoughtfulness for others, and all the love he had for his family.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations in Wyatt’s memory be made to, St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, 42 E. Main Street, Salem, VA  24153.

Funeral services will be held at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, Salem, VA on Tuesday, May 28,2024 at 11:00 am.
