With heavy hearts we announce the passing of our sister Yvonne Blackburn Brickey, 66, of Roanoke, Va. She joined our mother Artemis “Bonnie” Butcher in heave on January 31, 2025.
She was a loving mother, sister, aunt, and daughter. She will be greatly missed and remembered for her kind and loving heart, her faith in God and her compassion for animals and those less fortunate as well as her inner light that brightened any room she entered.
She is remembered by her daughters, Kasha and Monica; sisters, Edna (Charlie) and Kathy (Gary); nieces Chasity and Thyrza as well as many other family members.
