Yvonne Kay Dulaney

Yvonne Kay Reynolds Dulaney, a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother of Stewartsville, went to be with the Lord on July 22, 2026, at the age of 64, after a courageous battle with cancer.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Phyllis Reynolds.

Left to cherish her memory are her devoted husband of 22 years, Scott Dulaney; her son, Travis Reynolds, and his wife, Nakisha; and her beloved grandson, Carson, whom she lovingly called her "sweet sweet." She is also survived by her mother-in-law, Nadine Dulaney; her sister, Teresa; her niece, Jessica; her nephew, Rich, and his wife, Krystle; her great-nephews, Ayden and Trey; as well as many beloved aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends, including dear friends Matt and Cathy who shared a family-like bond with her.

Kay was a graduate of Staunton River High School and dedicated more than 30 years of service to Anthem. She was deeply committed to her community, volunteering countless hours with the Stewartsville Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary, the Odd Fellows, and Barnhardt Baptist Church, where her family's faith had deep roots.

Kay loved her family with all her heart, and nothing brought her greater joy than spending time with her beloved grandson. She will be remembered for her unwavering kindness, generosity, strong work ethic, and the love and care she poured into both her family and the farm she cherished. Her legacy of compassion, devotion, and selflessness will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

The family extends their sincere appreciation to Dr. Linda Duska, the care team at the UVA Emily Couric Cancer Center, and the staff of Good Samaritan Hospice in Roanoke.

Lotz Funeral Home, Vinton Chapel, is respectfully serving the family. The family will receive friends on Monday, July 27, 2026, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., with a funeral service immediately following at 7:00 p.m. Kay will be laid to rest in a private burial on the family farm.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial donations be made in Kay's honor to the Stewartsville Fire Department, the Ronald McDonald House, or the charity of your choice.
