Zina Sue Chapman Kennedy

ZINA SUE CHAPMAN KENNEDY, 56, of Bastian, VA, went to be with her Lord & Savior on Saturday, July 6, 2024.

Zina was born in Hopewell, VA, on November 14, 1967, the daughter of the late Michael, Sr. & Linda Chapman.

She loved her Lord Jesus, her family, her friends and her pets. She enjoyed making crafts, especially crocheting, and could make anything. She enjoyed giving homemade gifts.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Michael Dean, Sr. & Linda Christine Frye Chapman.

She is survived by her son, Billy Kennedy, Jr.; her daughter, Heather Kennedy; her life companion, Steve Graham; her brother & sister-in-law, Michael (Cathy) Chapman; her sister & brother-in-law, Melinda (Joe) Waddell; her second mama, Kay Austin; brothers-in-love, Floyd (Dreama) Graham and Herbie (Debbie) Graham; three grandchildren; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and special friends.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 10, 2024 at 1:00 P.M. at Bastian Church of God with Barry Loupe officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church from 11:00 A.M. until service time, 1:00 P.M.
