Jerry Wayne Gibson

Jerry Wayne Gibson, 75, of Vinton, passed away Thursday, August 29, 2019. He was retired from the Town of Vinton Public Works Department. Jerry loved and played music for over 50 years. He was predeceased by his wife, Helen Ann Gibson; parents, Charles and Mildred Gibson; brothers, Charles Gibson, Jr. and Ronnie Gibson, and grandson, Frankie Nash.

Surviving family includes daughters, Megan Renee Nash and husband, Frank of Roanoke County, and Lori Anne Speck and husband, Rob of Buchanan; step daughter, Jennifer Welch; brother, Dr. Dale Gibson and wife, Connie; sister, Nancy Wells and husband Toby; grandchildren, Daniel (Gage) Nash, Savannah Presley-Nash, and Lauren Shumate; best friend, Doug Chittum, and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM on Saturday, August 31, 2019 at the Lotz Funeral Home Chapel in Vinton with Pastor Seth Bryant officiating.
