Mary Jane Wheeler Wade

Mary Jane Wheeler Wade, 87, of Vinton, passed peacefully from this life on Monday, September 7, 2020. She was predeceased by her husband of 53 years, James A. Wade; parents, James and Goldie Wheeler, and by three of her siblings, Wayland Wheeler, Beverly Hill, and Gary Wheeler.

She is survived by her three children, Kathy Wade Craft, Tondalaya Wade VanLear, and James M. Jarrett; siblings, Gerald S. Wheeler and wife, Sue, Betty K. Campbell, Carole E. LeDane, Janice M. McKinney, Valerie W. Westmoreland and husband, Lee; Connie W. Karnes and husband, Mark, and, Sherry L. Wheeler. She is also survived by four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

A graveside service to celebrate her life will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, September 10, 2020 at Mountain View Cemetery in Vinton with Dr. Thomas Harvey officiating. A public viewing will be held from 6-8 PM on Wednesday, September 9, 2020 at Lotz Funeral Home in Vinton. Online condolences may be made at www.lotzfuneralhomevinton.com.
