Jason Paul Lutz

Jason Paul Lutz, 40, of Bedford, died Wednesday, January, 16, 2019. He was born in North Dakota on January 17, 1978 a son of Steven Lutz and the late Jerrie Bledsoe Giannotti. In addition to his mother he is preceded in death by an infant baby of Jason Lutz and Ashley Witt. Jason proudly served his country as a Staff Sergeant in the United States Army where he served two tours in Iraq. He was a wonderful father to his daughter. He was smart, loving, and was a man of courage, bravery, and integrity. In addition to his father he is survived by his fiancée, Ashley Witt; daughter, Kathryn Elizabeth Lutz; brothers, Michael Rogers and wife Chelsea, David Rogers, Dusty Lutz and wife Laura; step-father, Dan Giannotti; and numerous other family and friends. A funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m., on Friday, January 25, 2019 at Lighthouse Free Will Baptist Church, 924 Burks Hill Road, Bedford, VA with Rev. Daniel Smith officiating.
