John Barry Sines, Sr.

John Barry Sines, Sr., 71, of Bedford, passed away on Monday, November 15, 2021. He was born in Richmond, VA on September 14, 1950 a son of the late Dorothy Mae Sine. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Michelle Sines; sisters, Deborah Hairston, Linda Bowyer; brothers, Steve Bowyer, Ken Bowyer; and granddaughter, Blair Sines. He is survived by his wife, Sandra Adams Sines; children, John Sines, Jr. and wife Patricia, Sammie Sines and wife Jennifer, Brandy Tibbs and husband Joseph, Crystal Johns and husband Shane, Mekenzie Sines; step-children, Bryan Shepard and husband Ben, Missy Carroll and husband David; brother, Alan Creasy; sisters, Hope Craven, Dianne Douglas, Joyce Million, Joyce Bowyer; grandchildren, Jonathan, Kristen, Zachary, Savannah, Madison, Alexis, Harmony, Justin, Dakota, Alex, Colt, Megan; and numerous great-grandchildren. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m., on Thursday, November 18, 2021 at Greenwood Cemetery with Rev. Sam Stump officiating. Family will receive friends two hours prior to the service beginning at 12:00 noon at Burch-Messier Walnut Street Chapel, 1235 Walnut St. Bedford.
