Mack Brown Atkins, Jr.

Mack B. Atkins (Jr.), age 72, of Roanoke; was called home to the Lord on December 13, 2021.
Mack served his country in the Vietnam war, worked for the US Postal Service for 42 years, enjoyed connecting with others via Ham radio and loved spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by parents, Ila Mae and Mack Atkins Sr.; sister, Susan B. Francisco and his daughter Roxanne L. Hartman.
He is survived by his wife, Joan Atkins; sons, Mark and Kevin Atkins; sisters, Patricia Atkins, Nancy Tiwari, and Brenda Wilkerson; his 6 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren.
Mack will be greatly missed by his family, and remembered for his caring heart, wisdom, and endless conversation.
