Gloria Jean Barton

Gloria Jean Barton, 71, of Roanoke, passed away Friday, January 21, 2022. She loved animals, working in her flower beds and feeding birds. She was predeceased by her parents, Cleatus and Lantie Beckner; sister, Brenda Guffey, and grandson, Tyler Olson.

Surviving family includes daughters, Katherine Olson and husband, Brian, and Tammy King and husband, David Scott; grandsons, Michael King and John King; sister, Bonnie Wellons; ex-husband, Buddy Barton, and special companion, Lucky.

A celebration of her life will be at 2:00 PM on Thursday, January 27, 2022 at the Lotz Funeral Home Chapel in Vinton with Pastor Jeff Gardner officiating.
