Stephen Carl Shelton

Stephen Carl Shelton, 70, of Spencer, passed away Thursday, March 17, 2022, at his home. He was born June 17, 1951 in Martinsville, to the late E. Carl Shelton and Ruth Hazelwood Shelton.

His faith was of Church of Christ, and he was an electrician in the textile industry for 43 years. He attended Danville Community College and Patrick Henry Community College. He loved to work on cars, and go to Cruise-Ins and Car Shows in his spare time. He also greatly loved his family, especially his twin grandchildren.

Stephen in survived by his wife, Kathy Holland Shelton; daughter, Stacey Marie Shelton (Chris Kelly); son, Timothy Stephen Shelton (Becca); sister, Carla Shelton; brother, Phillip Shelton (Kathy); grandchildren, Chase Stephen Shelton and Allison Ann Shelton; and four nieces and two nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Big A Church of Christ, 3068 Big A School Road, Stuart, VA 24171.

All services will be private.
