Barbara Wright

Barbara Ann Wright, 78, of Vinton, passed away Wednesday, June 4, 2025.She was predeceased by her parents, Ira Wilson and Evelyn Ruth St. Clair; and her husband, Fredrick “Fred” Wright Jr.Barbara has a lifelong love for animals, having several memorable and beloved cats and dogs over the years. She worked at Kroger for many years, eventually retiring from her job as a front-end clerk. Barbara was also a very giving and charitable person.Left to cherish her memory is her brother, Wilson St. Clair, and his wife, Martha; cousin, Eddie Markham and his wife, Jan; and numerous nieces and nephews.The family will receive friends one hour prior on Friday, June 6, 2025, at Lotz Funeral Home Vinton, 305 E. Washington Ave., Vinton. A service will be held at 2 pm at the funeral home with Pastor Brian Geiser officiating. Interment will follow at Mountain View Cemetery.
