Chalice Huddleston Meador
Chalice was a woman who found joy in the simple things and shared her warmth with everyone around her. She loved spending time outdoors, especially working in her yard, where weed eating quickly became her favorite task. When she wasn’t outside, she could often be found inside with her beloved companion, Chloe Mae, faithfully by her side as she painted her paint by number canvases.
Above all, Chalice had a deep and special love for her family. She cherished every moment she could spend with them and enjoyed getting away on vacations whenever the opportunity arose.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Alice Huddleston; sister, Kay Tinger; brother, Michael Huddleston; and husband, David Meador.
Those left to cherish her memory are her sister, Joy Gray; son, Danny Meador and wife Amanda; daughter, Amber Meador; grandchildren, Madison, Lynley, Alex and Hunter; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family will receive friends at Lotz Funeral Home in Vinton on Sunday, March 15, 2026 from 2:00 until 4:00 pm.
The family would like to extend their deepest gratitude to Debbie Semones for the loving care and compassion she provided throughout Chalice’s illness. Her kindness will always be remembered.
