David Michael Overstreet

David Michael Overstreet, 51, of Bedford, passed away on Wednesday, March 8, 2023. He was born in Bedford, VA on February 9, 1972 a son of the late David Sherwood “Slim” Meador and Helen Mae Overstreet. He is survived by his brother, James “Eddie” Overstreet; niece, Heather O. Bird (John); nephew, James Wesley Overstreet (Jordan); great-nieces and great-nephews, Karson Overstreet, Logan Hodges, Willow Bird, Piper Bird, Charlie Bird; children, Tiffany Robertson, John Robertson, Brandon Osborne, Hollie Osborne; aunts, Lois O. Holland, Frances Stanley (W.R.), Edith Hall, Carolyn Overstreet, Janet Brown (Allen); uncles, James C. “Sonny” Overstreet (Vicky), Raymond Overstreet; Lloyd Meador, Marvin Falls; eleven grandchildren; several cousins; and a host of special friends. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, March 18, 2023 at Burch-Messier Walnut Street Chapel, 1235 Walnut St., Bedford, with Rev. Tim Feaser officiating. Burial will follow in Glade Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6:00 – 8:00 p.m., Friday, at Burch-Messier Walnut St. Chapel.
