Eric Lusk

Eric Brent Lusk, 48, (June 22, 1976-November 1, 2024), Goodview VA, died suddenly in his own home on Friday. Eric was a faithful servant in both youth and music ministry for 23 years at four different churches. Eric enjoyed winning every game he played. He had a quick wit and enjoyed making people laugh and feel good. He was a hero to his children. He valued his family and wanted to leave a godly legacy for his children. He was a devoted father and coached every sport his children played and instilled his love of music to both of them. Eric was a gifted vocalist and musician. He could pick up any instrument and play it without lessons and sing any song he was asked to sing. He was a diehard Philadelphia Eagles fan. Eric was a 1994 William Byrd graduate. He attended Trevecca Nazarene College in 1995 and 1996. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Irving Lusk and grandparents, Wilbert and Elizabeth Gallagher. He is survived by his loving wife, Amanda of 23 years, his beloved children, Chandler and Callie, his mother, Donna, his brother Jamie, sister Maribeth and a host of friends who considered him family. A celebration of life will be held at Lynn Haven Baptist Church, 1501 East Washington Avenue, Vinton, VA on Friday, November 8, 2024. The family will have visitation at 5:00pm, followed by a service at 6:00pm officiated by Pastor Bryan Crouch. There will be an opportunity to share memories and stories with his family during the service. In lieu of flowers, please consider giving to the ICCD (International Christian Center for the Deaf P.O.
