Nancy Drewry Hollar
Nancy Drewry Hollar, 83, of Roanoke passed way on February 27, 2026.
A native of Virginia she was the daughter of Everett and Mildred Drewry, both deceased. Nancy was treasurer for the neighborhood watch. She was a member of Roanoke First Church of the Nazarene where she played the piano and organ for over 40 years. She worked for Allstate Insurance for 44 years. Nancy’s lifelong love and appreciation for her “Kitties” was legendary. She was so grateful that “Misty” chose her. Nancy also had a love for playing hymns on her piano, it soothed her soul and gave her joy.
Her memory will be cherished by many loving friends and family.
The family will receive friends at Lotz Funeral Home in Vinton on Thursday, March 5, 2026 from 1:00 until 2:00 pm. A service will follow in the chapel of Lotz Funeral Home at 2:00 pm. Burial will be in Mountain View Cemetery in Vinton.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to St. Francis of Assisi or Disabled American Veterans.
We would like to express thanks for the attentive care given by the staff of Our Lady of the Valley Care Center and Good Samaritan Hospice.
Nancy was a very caring person who took care of her mother when she became disabled and after her mother passed, Nancy also took care of one of her aunts until she passed.
All who knew Nancy loved her and she loved and prayed for them.
