Paula Marie Goode, 69, of Thaxton, went to be with her Savior on Monday, March 6, 2023. She was preceded in death by her mother, Nola C. Anderson; and brother, Joe Wertz. She is survived her son, William Gillispie (Roger); daughter, Machelle Womack (Jeff); sister, Lynelle Spencer (Robbie); four grandchildren, Brent (Katryn), Ashlea, Lauren, and John Carter; two great-grandchildren, Gavin, Lera; niece, Sara; and a very dear friend, Brenda. In her life she endured heartache and pain, in death she gained peace and comfort. The family will have a private memorial service at a later date.
