Raymond Leon Chisom

Raymond Leon Chisom, 80, of Hardy, passed away Monday, October 3, 2022. Leon was an avid NASCAR fan of Richard Petty. He worked at GJ Hopkins for 43 years. He was predeceased by his father, Larry Chisom; mother, Esther Chisom; sisters, Sylvia, Estelle, Annabelle, Katherine, and Joyce; brother, Donnie; brother-in-law, Roy Allen, and son-in-law, David Gray.Surviving family includes his wife of 59 years, Judy; sister, Helen; brother, Tommy; daughters, Shelia (Shane), Carol (John), Alicia (Brian); son, Keith; special grandchildren, Damon, Gage (Amber), Kimberly (Trevor), Jennifer, Brandy, and Brianna; great-grandchildren, Averie, Alivia, Brayden, and Kinsley; special companion, Smokey, and many nieces and nephews.A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, October 7, 2022 at Mountain View Cemetery.
