Thelma Elizabeth Stevens Overstreet

Thelma Overstreet passed away on January 21, 2026.

Thelma had a big heart of love she shared with others.

She always spoke her mind---no sugar coating. She knew how to make you laugh. Thelma spent most of her life working in convenience stores.

She enjoyed spending time with the elderly, helping them with their needs. She mowed yards for everyone. Thelma visited nursing homes, and she loved and cared for people.

She loved Conway Twitty music. She was married to Dallas "Buddy" Overstreet for 53 years. Thelma loved babies and children, she helped us all raising our children. Thelma was their second mama or grandma. They all loved her dearly.

Thelma was faithful about taking care of our Daddy most of her life. She is truly home with our daddy now. Left to cherish her memory are her brothers and sisters and their families. God's circle of love will not be completed until were together again. Private services will be held and a public memorial service will be held at a later date.
